If you learn skills and techniques to make up for the things you are missing, it will make it so you can improvise and avoid going into the city. I’d hate to be in the city if SHTF and if I am missing something I am confident I can do without it. Be prepared. My 2 cents.

I would agree.

But…..There is some argument that there is an abundance of resources in a city. Albeit once the hoard of imbeciles is gone. My experience in the rural areas is great if you have everything. Otherwise its always a ride into town for ” ” you are missing. Not a lot of other options.

Maybe the large lot suburban area is the “best”. IDK. And IDK b/c I have done enough to Know What I Do Not Know!!!

If possible, you and your family should be making plans to relocate to a rural area or outside a small town like my wife and I did 10 years ago (…on a small farm now). I realize that circumstances might not be conducive to make such a move at the present time. A bug-out plan is absolutely necessary as an alternative.
