I think the idea is that in such a beautiful landscape temporary trailers and camping are ok but cluttered trailers everywhere can alter the vision and overall beauty…… thus even as I oppose massive regulations I have seen beautiful areas polluted we we with discarded habitats that ruin the surrounding beauty …..bk

We have been here 3 months I’m a retired tradesman they have the codes for a reason and need to enforce them but if they run people off that are trying they will not have good people/families that build and respect the land if they would pay more attention to making people keeping their land clean and up to code things would change they want us out not caring we are keeping our land clean and working to deal with their codes If they run people off before they give them a chanch they will be dealing with the trash and delapitaded structures for ever.

We bought land here and told the Assessors office we will have to buy a permit a month and save for the septic even being told the wife is set up for two eye operations and it is unsafe for her to drive they want us out in 10 days. I’m thinking the land will go back on the market we will build our home elsewhere probably in Arizona they want my tax money.

As long as you have a septic system they will leave you alone for the most part. All they want is money because costilla is one of the poorest counties in colorado. They broke so they trying to make people pay more and for stuff we shouldn’t have too. Im in Blanca and after the septic went in they stopped coming around.

As far as I’m concerned, if I am not free to live, then I choose death. But I will take as many with me as I can with me.
