With Christmas just around the corner, we rounded up some of our top hunting gear choices to make your holiday gift hunting a bit easier. Here are some of my favorite hunting products from the past year.<\/p>\n

Bear Archery Anarchy HC Compound Bow<\/a>\"\"<\/h3>\n

\"Bear<\/p>\n

The Bear Anarchy was one of my best finds of the year. These bows are awesome, but for some reason Bear decided to do away with the Anarchy line. While that might be bad news for fans of the Anarchy, it was great news for me because these things are now selling at a huge discount. The bows originally retailed for as much as $1200, but are now selling for $350 – $400. You simply won’t find a better bow for the price.<\/p>\n

Don’t let the discounted price fool you, this is one of Bear’s top end bows — in fact, it might be the most accurate bow Bear has made. Originally marketed towards the competitive target\/3d shooter, the Anarchy is built for performance and accuracy. It comes in 50, 60, & 70 pound draw weights, and has a Hybrid cam design that gives it a extremely smooth draw. The draw cycle is incredibly smooth and the shot is quiet, making this a great bow to shoot and hunt with.<\/p>\n

YETI Tundra Series Coolers<\/a>\"\"<\/h3>\n

\"Yeti<\/p>\n

If you hunt or fish, then you know how important it is to keep your game cool.<\/p>\n

The Yeti Tundra is one of the top premium coolers on the market. Although these coolers are pricey, when compared to your typical cooler from Walmart there really is no comparison in quality. The Yeti Tundra is rock-solid, and it\u2019s made to last for a lifetime. It\u2019s one of the best insulated coolers on the market, and during our testing it retained ice for about ten days.<\/p>\n

This thing is great for hunting and fishing, and will keep your game fresh and cold even on extended trips out into the backcountry.<\/p>\n

Tru-Fire Hardcore Buckle Foldback Release<\/a>\"\"<\/h3>\n

\"TruFire<\/p>\n

The TruFire Hardcore Buckle Foldback Bow Release is one of the best releases on the market. It\u2019s also one of the best options for hunters, because the release folds back onto your wrist, making climbing into those treestands a little less hazardous. They are a little pricey, but I\u2019ve bought some of the cheaper releases and I can tell you really get what you pay for with this one.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s got a hair trigger (which is tunable) and a pivoting head that will give you a torque free delivery.<\/p>\n

Tenzing TZ 1200 Ultra Light Day Pack <\/a>\"\"<\/h3>\n

\"Tenzing<\/p>\n

The Tenzing TZ1200 Hunting backpack is one of my favorite packs to grab when I\u2019m trying to travel fast and light. It\u2019s small, but still has plenty of room for everything I need while out on a hunt, including room for a 2-3 liter water bladder.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s got a waterproof inner liner to keep your gear dry in wet conditions, and the pack is comfortable and easy to wear \u2013 even when shooting.<\/p>\n

Gold Tip Kinetic Kaos Arrows<\/a>\"\"<\/h3>\n

\"Gold<\/p>\n

Gold Tip Kinetic Kaos Arrows are engineered for hunting in bad weather. Gold Tips are known for their rock-solid straight shafts, and these Kaos don\u2019t disappoint. The Kaos shafts feature a new GTO Nock and Bushing combination, and a new Ballistic Collar for increased accuracy and consistency. The smaller diameter shafts will also help you increase accuracy in windy conditions.<\/p>\n

They are available in five spines ranging from 500 to 200, with weights of 11.6 to 7.6gp.<\/p>\n

Delta McKenzie Shotblocker Bowhunter Target<\/a><\/h3>\n

The Delta McKenzie ShotBlocker is a solid, long-lasting target.\u00a0 It\u2019s a foam layered self-healing target, which works well with both field points and broadheads. While most layered bags are held together with straps or plates, this one features a welded core that eliminates the need for wires and bands.<\/p>\n

Arrows are easy to remove, you can shoot all four sides of the target, and it will outlast traditional bag targets.<\/p>\n

Hults Bruk Aneby Hunting Hatchet<\/a>\"\"<\/h3>\n

What kind of a hunter or woodsman doesn’t have a good axe?<\/span><\/p>\n

The Hults Bruk Aneby Axe is a great all around hunting axe, designed for everything from animal skinning to bushcraft and light forest work. It has a nice 20″ American Hickory curved wood handle and 1.75 lb. hand-forged Swedish steel axe head. It is razor sharp right out of the box and has stayed that way even after a number of trips out into the backcountry. <\/span>This thing is solid, and just the right size for just about any hunting pack.<\/p>\n

Pelican ProGear LED Pivoting Headlight<\/a>\"\"<\/h3>\n

The Pelican 2780 Headlamp is great for those earlier morning hikes out to the treestand or duck blind. The light gives off 430 lumens and features dual beam technology that helps light the trail both in front of you and at your feet. It takes 4 AA batteries, and last for about 1 \u00bd hours on high and 12 hours on low (the low setting is perfect for reading trail maps in low light conditions).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
